It is confusing Barbara, I agree. Site readers cannot read fractions so we have to convert to decimals. 1/2 cup = 0.5 and 1/4 cup = 0.25 1/3 cup = 0.33. I hope that helps!

Thank you so much for this, Lisa! I love poached eggs and was looking for an easier way to make them. This simple and quick technique worked perfectly for me on the first try. I used ramekins that I already had (I could fit 3 in my pot), used ghee, and they slid right out. Cooking times you posted were right on for my pot. I’m so excited that I’ll be able to eat eggs more frequently now that I know this technique. Next time I’ll use butter, though, as I don’t really care for the taste of ghee. I’m looking forward to trying some of your other recipes too!

YUMMY!
I’ve made many dressings using recipes from here and there as well as adding my own touch as I did with this tasty dressing recipe. I used a high grade white lemon balsamic. I didn’t have fresh green onions on hand so I used about 1 tsp dried chives. Lastly, no milk- no worries because I always have cream around for my coffee. I will be adding this to my favs.
