Place an 8-inch flour tortilla in the bottom of the air fryer basket. Use a small pastry brush to lightly coat a small border around the edge of the tortilla with oil.
Place the pizza sauce in the center of the tortilla and spread it towards the outside without going all the way to the edge of the tortilla.
Place the pepperoni slices on top of the pizza sauce. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle Italian seasoning on top of the cheese.
Secure the basket in the air fryer. Set the air fryer to 3 minutes at 400°F. Check to see if your pizza is golden brown and bubbly at 2:30 minutes. If not, continue cooking for an additional 30 seconds.
Use a jumbo turner to remove the pizza and place on a cutting board. Slice the pizza into quarters or smaller wedges for easy handling.
Notes
The air fryer works best with a thin, even layer of toppings that will cook evenly. Too many toppings, and you may end up with a soggy pizza.
It’s easy to get carried away with sauce, but too much can make the tortilla soggy. Just use a small amount to cover the surface lightly.
The pepperoni slices are placed under the cheese to keep them from flying around your air fryer.
Try adding your favorite cheeses or herbs to personalize your pizza.
I used a Mission Carb Balance low-carb flour tortilla. Your results may vary depending on the brand of tortilla used.
